PARISH HAPPENINGS
2nd Quarter 2013

Sunday, June 16th a coffee hour was held in the Father Rausch Hall to honor our Graduates, Fathers, and June Birthdays. A large number of parishioners came to the hall  after Mass to offer their congratulations to the graduates and spend some time in fellowship, while enjoying a large variety of breakfast goodies that were provided by the Catholic Daughters.
St. Paul's hosted the Annual Community Christians Women's Fellowship Prayer Hour on Saturday, June 1st. The theme for the morning was "The Cup of Life"
The morning's  program consisted of: Prayer, lots of good food and fellowship.
The Sacrament of Confirmation for Kylee Letosky took place at St. Mary's in Oneonta on Friday evening May 24th. Bishop Hubbard held the confirmation for all those from Delaware, Otsego, and Schoharie County. A reception at the Father Rausch Hall was held after the 4PM Mass on Saturday, May 25th.
On May 11 and 12 the Little Victory Players along with a cast of actors and actresses from St. Paul's presented the play "Song of Bernadette." I'm sure you will recognize some of our local talent from the photos. The play benefited our local Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry and was enjoyed by all. There are more photos on St. Paul's Facebook page.
May is the Month of our Lady and the children of St. Paul's held  a Crowning of Mary Ceremony following the 9 AM Mass on Sunday May 5th. This was followed by a coffee hour in the Father Rausch hall where the Catholic Daughters celebrated the birthdays for any parishioner that has a May Birthday.
On Saturday, April 6th Fr Chris reached the half century number of 50. A birthday get together was held in the Father Rausch Hall after the Sunday morning Mass. Father's birthday was celebrated as well as any parishioner whose birthday is in April. The first picture below is a picture of the April birthday parishioners that were present for the get together. The Catholic Daughters have offered to sponsor a monthly coffee hour (dependent upon the hall availability) to celebrate those who are having birthdays during that month.
Father Chris turned 50 years young on April 6th and a surprise birthday party was held for him and his family at the Starlight Inn. Those that attended the celebration had an evening of good food, entertainment and lots of great conversation.
